It is a unique hotel, located near the Byzantine tower and the small port of the village from which people depart either for visiting Mt. Athos or the shores of the opposite islets with the enchanting beaches and the emerald water. During your stay at the hotel you can also walk to the newly excavated monastery of Zygou enjoying the beautiful route, while pines and olive trees will accompany your journey

The stage director Theodore Angelopoulos established his base here, during the filming of the film ‘An Eternity and a Day’ awarded in the Cannes Film Festival in 1998.
